The Little Shop

In the front hall, the manor has a charming Little Shop which sells many domestic products, which are mostly produced locally.

"We want to support the local artisans. Also, the products in the Little Shop have personality." Leila Ylitalo explains.

Among the local products for sale is the local Ajan Koru tin jewellery, which have been made since the 1970s.

The pearl jewellery is made by Eketarina Virtanen from Riihimäki, whose business is titled Tulihelmi.

The lathe-carved wood pieces are made by Markku Tuominen from Hattula. The Maiko Oy bags and oven mittens come from Somero.

The foreign imports include alpaca-based products, imported from Peru.
